UK Youth, an organisation that focuses on the concerns and lives of young people, has launched its #StopLookListen17 campaign to mark National Safeguarding Month.
UK Youth “take the lead”
Previously run by the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS), this year sees UK Youth “take the lead” between 28 February and 31 March.
“Stop, Look and Listen”
The campaign calls on organisations that work with young people to “Stop what they’re doing, Look at their safeguarding practices, Listen to young people” with a focus on motivating and inspiring youth organisations.
A series of pledges
By integrating the #StopLookListen17 for this year’s campaign, organisations are invited to make a series of pledges surrounding ways that their safeguarding standards can be improved. As part of this, UK Youth has provided a resource pack containing all of the essential information.
