BPCN supports NSPCC campaign with scheduled child sexual exploitation awareness-raising session

BPCN is scheduled to hold an “awareness-raising” session surrounding child sexual exploitation on Monday 27th March at Edgbaston Grange Nursery to support the NSPCC campaign ‘Safe Internet Explorers’.

The session, which is now sold out, is due to take place between 10am and 12pm.

Amending the Digital Economy Bill

The campaign calls on the Culture Secretary Karen Bradley to amend the Digital Economy Bill so that it includes ways of keeping children safe online.

The NSPCC asks that websites, games and apps meet minimum safety standards, moderators are trained to spot signs of bullying online, and steps are put in place to prevent children coming across sexual or violent content.

Keep up to date with all of the child sexual exploitation awareness raising sessions that BPCN is delivering regularly by checking the official website.
