Every Disable Child Matters (EDCM) together with Contact A Family, the Family and Childcare Trust, and Working Families is supporting a Parliamentary Inquiry into childcare for disabled children launched by Robert Buckland MP and Pat Glass MP.
Terms of reference for the inquiry
- Assess the extent to which disabled children and their families face affordability, quality and access barriers to childcare.
- Identify good practice and examples of quality childcare provision that promotes the inclusion of disabled children and young people.
- Examine potential policy measures to address these barriers.
- Make recommendations as appropriate
