Pre-School Learning Alliance

The Alliance has launched a new online training course on early years nutrition in partnership with the Early Years Nutrition Partnership.

‘Providing a healthy food environment in early years settings’ is now available free to Alliance members through the Alliance’s partnership with CPD-approved training provider EduCare.

The course includes three modules: Nutrition fundamentals for children aged one to four; healthy portion sizes; and healthy packed lunches. Designed to give practitioners a fuller understanding of why nutrition is so important in the early years, the course looks at oral health, typical eating habits and the role of main food groups.

Alliance members can access the course completely free via their EduCare accounts by visiting https://www.pre-school.org.uk/educare. Non-members can purchase the course for £29.95 directly from EduCare here.
