Birmingham PlayCare Network partnered artist Tina Francis launched a solo exhibition on Wednesday 4th May, which runs up until Friday 29th July.
The exhibition entitled ‘7 Stages of Grief’ is housed at The Coffin Works on Fleet Street in Birmingham, and is free for all to attend.
The concept of the exhibition is exploring the loss of a loved one through stitch. Tina said:
“As a maker, I have the skills to fix what is broken; I follow process and rules. I have been unable to do this with grief.”
Tina has recently been delivering the Creative Food Fantasia project with Birmingham PlayCare Network, using Scrapstore materials to create food sculptures to promote healthy eating in settings.
