Birmingham MASH launched on the 28th July as a fully integrated multi-agency team involving key safeguarding agencies with a view to better identifying risks to children, and improving decision-making, interventions, and outcomes. The creation of a MASH enables the multi-agency team to appropriately review their information systems, share all appropriate information in a secure environment, and ensure that the most appropriate response is provided to effectively safeguard and protect the child.
