PiPs comes out and onto the streets to Play!!

Birmingham PlayCare Network is delighted to be working with the Black Country Housing Group, to introduce our successful Play in Parks (PiPs) scheme in neighbourhoods within Tipton, in the West Midlands.

The team at BPCN is looking forward to two fun-packed days with children from specially selected roads around the Tipton area, and hope that this may develop further opportunities to extend PiPs onto other streets in our City.

FREE training sessions on behalf of the Bullying Reduction Action Group/BCC

As part of preparations for Anti-bullying Week, BRAG & BCC are offering free training sessions around anti-bullying, and is open to any professionals working with children and young people.

Upcoming Workshops on the Principles of Play

Organised by Birmingham PlayCare Network, spaces are now available to book onto the next round of workshops.  Taking place in October and November the workshops will be covering playwork principles. 

These principles establish the professional and ethical framework for playwork, and describe what is unique about play and playwork, and provide the playwork perspective for working with children and young people.
