Workforce development

Birmingham PlayCare Network has been funded by the Early Years and Childcare team to delivery 8 play based workshops in each of the pct areas.

The Birmingham East and North pct will be split, having 8 workshops in North and 8 in East 8 in South and 8 based in the Heart of Birmingham. Each workshop is open to 25 practitioners from settings in Birmingham. The workshops run from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are held at venues local to the pct’s in order that playworkers can access them close to their settings.
