Playing in the Great Outdoors – Workshop
Playing in the Great Outdoors workshop is an excellent session for playworkers to explore a variety of play opportunities using the outdoor environment whilst allowing for lots of discussion around risk benefit assessments, OFSTED requirements and concerns or anxieties that playworkers may have around this level of activity. The workshop will also be part of a national simultaneous screening of ‘Project Wild Thing’ on National Playday.
This workshop will be taking place at the Lickey Hills Country Park, Warren Lane, Birmingham, B45 8E, on Wednesday 5th August 2015, 10:00am-2.00pm

Play in Parks (PIPs) and playday events 2015
PiPs are open access schemes providing play opportunities in parks located within particular areas of Birmingham and is aimed at children aged 5 to 13. All free of charge, this year PiPs will be running on the following days during August:
3rd August – (1 day event) Enderby Park, Kingstanding
10th – 14th August (all week) Aston Park, Aston
19th & 20th August (2 day event) Nimmings Park, Longbridge
24th – 28th August (all week) Moonlit Park, Attwood Green
